  Very tasty authentic Indian Food, We ordered Kaju Masala, Sag Paneer, Garlic Naan, Vegetable Biryani. Taste is really good in this restaurant. We tried several others in this area and found that this is only restaurant which serves authentic Indian food.

  Normal I go to the Raj, but got bocked here on a Saturday night for a group of 10 of us. Wasn't my choice of venue but after being here and experiencing the friendly and welcoming staf and the tasty food. I know I will be coming back here again. The flavour and the taste of the curry was 7 star. I had onoin baji for starter, the best I ever had. For main I had lamb rogonjosh with lemon rice, the flavour was brilliant and the lamb was very tender. Overall the hole meal was far better quality and cheaper than Raj.

  My first meal in Cafe India as we normally go to The Raj however it was a birthday meal and not my choice. We arrived at 8pm and was ushered to our table and in typical fashion were offered popadoms and pickles & the Resturant was pretty full.
  9.00pm came and went and so had other diners but no one had approached us for our order so we had to get the young waitresses attention. Order taken at around 9.10pm with the restaurant now at best 3/4 full however our starters didn't arrive until 10.20pm followed by mains at 10.45pm!
  Food was good apart from a dubious looking hair in a friends tandoori mixed grill which we were told was a 'bristle' from the basting brush?

  Food was nice and they were good enough to sort out a doggy bag for us but the wait was far too long hence the doggy bag as we'd pretty much lost our appetite and drunk far too much by the time the food came out.
